A Little Girl. An Extraordinary Fight. A Journey That Changed Our Family Forever.
Paisleigh’s Journey is more than a collection at Pixel Nest. It is our daughter’s story. It is the reason behind so much of what we do, and a reminder that behind childhood cancer statistics are real children, real families and battles no child should ever have to face.
Paisleigh was just 10 months old when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
In an instant, our lives changed.
Instead of the ordinary milestones that should fill a baby’s first year, Paisleigh’s days became filled with hospital rooms, doctors, medications and treatments. She endured three grueling rounds of chemotherapy and five radiation treatments as her medical team worked toward giving her the best chance at overcoming the leukemia.
Then came hope.
Her First Stem Cell Transplant
In September 2024, Paisleigh received a stem cell transplant from her brother, who was an incredible 100% match for her.
Her brother gave his little sister something no family could ever adequately put into words: another chance.
The transplant worked, and Paisleigh entered remission.
For more than a year, we held onto that precious word.
Remission.
We watched our little girl grow. We celebrated the ordinary moments that, after childhood cancer, never feel ordinary again.
But in November 2025, we received the news every cancer family fears.
Paisleigh had relapsed.
The Fight Began Again
Once again, our little girl had to fight.
Paisleigh underwent another incredibly difficult round of chemotherapy. But this time, leukemia wasn't the only battle her little body was facing.
During treatment, she battled metapneumovirus and then developed a fungal infection so serious that she ended up in the ICU.
There were frightening days.
There were uncertain days.
And there were days when all we could do was stay beside her and hope that her little body could keep fighting.
She did.
Paisleigh overcame those infections, and her leukemia was brought under enough control to give us another opportunity — one that would take our family far from home.
A Life-Saving Journey to Seattle
Paisleigh was able to travel to Seattle Children’s in Seattle, Washington, where she was given the opportunity to participate in a potentially life-saving clinical trial.
There, she underwent CAR-T immunotherapy.
Once again, we waited.
And once again, Paisleigh gave us a reason to hope.
The treatment was successful. Paisleigh reached MRD-negative status, meaning testing could no longer detect measurable residual leukemia.
That incredible result opened the door to the next step in her fight:
a second stem cell transplant.
In April 2026, Paisleigh received her second transplant, this time with stem cells donated by her half-brother.
For the second time, one of her brothers became part of the fight to save their little sister's life.
Today, Paisleigh Is Home
After everything she has endured, Paisleigh is finally where a child belongs.
Home.
She's being a kid.
She's playing. Growing. Laughing. Spending time with her family and experiencing the little everyday moments we once would have taken for granted.
But childhood cancer doesn't simply disappear when a child comes home.
Paisleigh is doing well, but she is never completely out of the woods. There are appointments, monitoring, uncertainty and the reality that our family has learned how quickly life can change.
So we celebrate today.
We celebrate every ordinary morning.
Every laugh.
Every milestone.
Every day at home.
Because Paisleigh has taught us just how extraordinary an ordinary day can be.
Why We Created Paisleigh’s Journey
The Paisleigh’s Journey Collection was created from something deeply personal.
It gives us a way to share our daughter's story while creating something meaningful from a journey we never would have chosen for her.
It represents the children still fighting.
The children who have finished treatment.
The families sitting beside hospital beds tonight.
The siblings who quietly become heroes themselves.
And every family whose world has been changed by childhood cancer.
Paisleigh’s journey has shown us a kind of courage we never knew could exist in someone so small.
Her journey inspires ours.
Two Brothers. Two Gifts That Can Never Be Repaid.
There is another part of Paisleigh's story that deserves to be told.
Both of her stem cell transplants were made possible by her brothers.
Her first transplant came from her 100% matched brother in September 2024.
When leukemia returned and Paisleigh needed another chance, her half-brother donated for her second transplant in April 2026.
Two brothers stepped forward at different points in their sister's fight.
Two donations.
Two chances at life.
As parents, there are simply no words big enough for what that means to our family.
