Pixel Nest Designs was founded by Nathan Kenney in Hamilton, Ontario, following a moment that changed our family forever.

When our daughter, Paisleigh, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia—also known as AML—we wanted to find a meaningful way to share her story, raise awareness and help others understand the strength it takes to face childhood cancer. What began as a way to put Paisleigh’s Journey out into the world soon grew into something larger: a family-led business built around connection, awareness and purpose.

Pixel Nest Designs is more than an online shop. It is an extension of our family’s story and a way to create products that help people express what matters most to them.

Our Family Is at the Heart of Our Mission

Our awareness collections are deeply personal.

Our leukemia-awareness designs were inspired by Paisleigh and her journey with AML. Every design represents courage, hope, resilience and the families who stand beside their loved ones through diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

Our autism-awareness collection was inspired by our two sons, who are seven and five years old and are both autistic. Through these designs, we hope to encourage greater understanding, acceptance and inclusion while giving families, advocates and supporters a meaningful way to share their pride.

These are not simply themes we selected for a product catalogue. They reflect the real experiences, challenges, love and strength within our own family.

Original Designs With Meaning

Every Pixel Nest Designs product begins with an original idea.

Our designs are created to tell stories, start conversations and help people express their identity, humour, culture, support and personal experiences. Whether a design raises awareness, celebrates family, honours a meaningful journey or simply brings someone joy, we want it to feel personal.

All Pixel Nest Designs artwork is original and created specifically for our brand. We do not believe meaningful products should feel generic. Each design is developed with intention and with the person who may wear, display or gift it in mind.

Made to Order and Produced With Care

Pixel Nest Designs is based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

To provide reliable production and efficient delivery to customers in different regions, we work with a network of professional printing partners located throughout the world. Whenever possible, orders are produced close to the customer’s delivery location. This helps reduce unnecessary shipping distances while supporting a quicker and smoother fulfilment experience.

Because our products are made to order, each item is produced specifically for the person purchasing it. This approach allows us to offer a broad selection of meaningful designs while reducing excess inventory and unnecessary waste.

Production locations and delivery times may vary depending on the product, availability and the customer’s shipping destination.

Giving Back

Supporting the leukemia community is an important part of why Pixel Nest Designs exists.

For purchases from our leukemia-awareness collection, 5% of the pre-tax purchase total is donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.

These contributions help support an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by blood cancers through research, education, services and advocacy.

We believe that even a small business can make a meaningful difference. Every eligible purchase helps us honour Paisleigh’s journey while supporting other individuals and families affected by leukemia and lymphoma.
